Saturn Infotech works across the office of the CXO focusing on their systems and information, from strategy to reporting and analytics.
CXOs who works with Saturn Infotech can anticipate improvements in these key areas:
We are leaders in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) with decades of experience implementing the various modules within Workday, Oracle, SAP, SalesForce, as well as other tools. We offer broad knowledge and experience across many applications and technologies, with an overall goal to improve the practice of data gathering, reporting and business processes.
We distinguish ourselves by offering our clients direct guidance throughout technology selection, scoping, and implementation road mapping to ensure success. We take an exceptional approach to all our projects by focusing on the business user’s process and productivity.
Our successful Front-to-Back approach is multi-phased with incremental releases of functionality. This helps business users participate actively and leverage their acquired knowledge of the tool. This leads to faster productivity and decreasing risk of budget/timeline overruns.
“Front to Back” is based upon several principles:
New Business Process Design
When implementing change in an organization, a correct approach to new business process is critical. This is a key component of the implementation that often gets missed. Often we find that our client’s current business process has evolved over the years and they don’t have time to think about ways of improving the process. At the same time, existing technology has limitations that may prevent “best practice” from being realized.
Prototyping and Early Application Build
Modern technology can support rapid application development so that business users can see their data in the application within weeks of initial build. There is no substitute for business users reviewing their data in a new application. Once initial validation has been completed, the development staff has a perfect window to begin layering in more complex logic, detailed input templates and necessary reports. With modern application builds, all of these areas depend upon a strong validated design of the application.
While many implementation methodologies recommend long periods of requirements and design, we are confident that business users would rather see their application than read about it. After initial build is complete, users can see the additional requirements layered into the application as the build proceeds. This provides a solid mitigation to the risk of “Build it and they will come” methodology all too often prevalent in technology implementation.
Business User Engagement
There is no better way to implement business process or systems change than by ensuring significant business user engagement. Saturn Infotech prefers to have business users involved before, during and after any engagement. We build new process and systems for the business users, so we encourage their involvement throughout the process.
Knowledge Transfer and Mentoring of Client Staff
Our entire approach is centered on ensuring that client staff get the right knowledge, perspective and hands-on work to be 100% proficient with their new tool. While the involvement of the users early in the process is crucial to success, their involvement during the process can be just as important. Our engagements are designed to ensure significant knowledge transfer and mentoring throughout the process to facilitate ongoing active administration of any process or system once our engagement is over.
Saturn Infotech’s collaborative approach is designed for optimum synergy between our consultants and business users. Users can take advantage of the finance background and application expertise of our consultants, and our consultants in turn get a clear understanding of the clients’ business. This results in a highly productive and efficient environment that is low in risk to both timeline and budget..
